Ajay Devgan’s close shave with death while shooting in Thailand
0 Comments Published by ajay devgan September 24th, 2008 in NewsBollywood star Ajay Devgan escaped death while giving an action shot for a film near an island in Thailand - the weather suddenly changed and the chopper moving over him nearly lost control. He escaped unscathed, despite the helicopter blades whizzing inches from him.He says he was shooting with other actors near Phi Phi Island. The action director Jack Gill had planned out a stunt in which the jet-ski chase was suppose to be shot from a chopper.
“Initially, as we started filming and moving around in the shallow waters, the waves were moderate… so we decided to move ahead in the deeper waters since the scene required a proper aerial view which should look like a chase from a top angle,” Ajay wrote on his blog www.ajaydevgan.net. Ajay won’t use god to promote Golmaal Returns
0 Comments Published by ajay devgan September 17th, 2008 in NewsAjay Devgan has never believed in walking the conventional path. When an offer came to him to promote his next, Golmaal Returns by offering prayers at Lalbaug-cha Raja, the actor flatly refused saying he wouldn’t want to use God like that. Says a source close to Ajay, “Though Ajay is an extremely religious person who has Ganpati in his office and often visits religious places like Tirupati and Ajmer Shariff, for him God and worship are very sacrosanct and private beliefs. Being an intensely private individual, he doesn’t like a public show of those beliefs.
So when an offer came from some people involved with the Lalbaugcha Raja puja to promote GR he said no without hesitation. Ajay told Rohit Shetty, GR’s director, through whom the offer came, that he’d prefer to pray in his heart rather than offer prayers at such a public place and use God like that.” Continue reading ‘Ajay won’t use god to promote Golmaal Returns’
