Ajay Devgan denies that his directorial debut, U, Me Aur Hum, is based on the Hollywood film, The Notebook, and says it’s an original story.

People, these days, seem to be enjoying running down Ajay Devgan’s directorial debut, U, Me Aur Hum , reported to be a copy of the Hollywood flick, The Notebook . However, AD says, “Contrary to reports, my film is an original screenplay.”

As director, Devgan seems to have impressed his team. “He’s simply great to work with,” says Divya Dutta who is a part of the film. So there, as against his detractors, there are AD’s admirers too.
