Salman Khan and Ajay Devgan to star in ‘London Dreams’

Director Vipul Shah has announced that Salman Khan and Ajay Devgan will star in London Dreams which has now been revived, ending persistent media speculation about the fate of the film.

The film went into a limbo a day after production started with fanfare at the Golden Temple in Amritsar, over differences between Raj Kumar Santoshi and producer Param Jit Singh.

Vipul Shah, who has now replaced Santoshi, denies recent media reports that Ajay Devgan has walked out of the film following Santoshi’s exit.

“Salman Khan and Ajay Devgan will be my protagonists. Everyday, some paper or the other gives out wrong information. Hopefully, no one will have a doubt now,” Shah tells TOI.

Shah also confirms that Katrina is not in the film.

“Again, it’s not Katrina, like it’s being speculated, we haven’t even approached her. The decision about the female lead still has to be made,” he says.

The story of the film is reportedly based on the Hollywood musical Amadeus (1984) and revolves around two friends who want to rule the Asian underground music in UK.
