Remember the zebra-pair in ‘Omkara’? Yes, we are talking about darky Ajay Devgan and pinko-white Kareena Kapoor, who did a great job in the movie. The film got rave reviews and the actors were showered with awards.

‘Omkara’ was a tragedy based on Shakespeare’s play ‘Othello’ but this time the zebra-pair return with a comedy – ‘Golmaal Returns’, which is a sequel to ‘Golmaal’.

In the film Kareena Kapoor plays a housewife addicted to Ekta Kapoor’s Saas-Bahu serials and begins suspecting her husband, played by Devgan, of adultery. The dumb Tusshar Kapoor from the prequel will play Kareena’s brother.

Amongst the rest of the multi-starrer cast, actress Amrita Arora will be seen opposite Arshad Warsi whilst Celina Jaitley and Anjana Sukhani opposite Shreyas Talpade and Tusshar Kapoor respectively. Jaitley will be playing a half-Indian, half-Afghani housewife while Arora will be playing Devgan’s sister.

‘Golmaal Returns’ is directed by Rohit Shetty and to be produced by Dhillin Mehta under Shree Ashtavinayak Cine Vision LTD.

The film is to hit the theatres on October 29. Let’s see after doing wonders in a tragedy, what performance would Ajay-Kareena churn out for a comedy.
