First look poster of Ajay Devgan’s All The Best disappoints
This one was a shocker! The first look poster of this year’s Diwali release – All The Best – comes with glaring spelling errors!
To begin with, on the poster, the production house has been spelt thus — AJAY DEVGN FFILMS (and no, we don’t think it has anything to do with numerology!)
On the other hand, the poster showcases the lead cast jumping in the air wearing vibrant clothes. However, this has been put against the background of a collage of photographs, which sports equal number of colours, thus totally taking away the focus from the lead star cast and making it an eyesore.
Moreover, on the collage, words like Sound, Dance, Action, Music, Laughs have been pasted randomly. We wonder what they want to convey to the audience by putting “Sound” on the poster? Is it a “sound” film? Does it have good sound? In any case, how is it relevant and does it even matter??
Coming to the title font, one look and it gives a feeling of déjà vu. All The Best has almost the same font and feel as that of Om Shanti Om.
All The Best is produced by Ajay Devgan Films and directed by Rohit Shetty. It stars Ajay Devgan, Sanjay Dutt, Fardeen Khan, Bipasha Basu and Mudgha Godse. The movie has been co-produced by Kumar Mangat and is slated to release on 16 October.
The first communication that goes out for a new film is most important and critical as it sets the base for what’s in store. While the poster has definitely been a disappointment, one surely hopes the movie has oodles of fun and frolic to offer this festival season.
