Arshad’s comic timing seems to be just right. He’s all set to join Ajay Devgan in another comic romp, this one titled Sunday, to be directed by Rohit ‘Golmaal’ Shetty.

So has Arshad made peace with his comic avatar? “i’ll do the ones that turn me on. i’ve heard the script of Sunday and i love it. The characters are very interesting. But i can’t say i’ve a parallel role. Sunday is Ajay’s role… i’m getting solo-hero offers, but not good enough. if i get the right solo-hero project it would be a piece of cake for me. Honestly i hope i don’t end up doing only supporting roles in 2007.

i’m pretty clear about not doing small roles. i was offered the role that Chunky Pandey finally did in i See You… Okay, don’t give me leading men’s roles. But at least do justice to me….like Sunday isn’t a lead. But it’s a well-defined role, and i like working with Rohit Shetty. But there’s no doubt Sunday is Ajay’s film. i need to do solo films. i’d like to do a solo hero film with Yashraj Films. UTV is keen to cast me.” Continue reading ‘Arshad Warsi teams up with Ajay Devgan again for Sunday’
