Well it’s great to see Ajay Devgan back in action once again. The man who had been busy past couple of months working on his directorial debut project U, ME AUR HUM seems to be taking it easy these days with the movie almost complete now.

Ajay and Kajol keeping up to their old commitment recently shot for an ad film for Whirlpool at the Yash Raj Studio.

The couple would be seen together in a 3D animation film titled ‘Toonpur Ka Super Hero’. Notwithstanding his serious persona, actor Ajay Devgan has always held that Bollywood needs to make more films for kids. His unsuccessful home production Raju Chacha was a frail attempt at this.

Now, even as Ajay and Kajol are working together on U Me Aur Hum (directed by Devgan himself) the happily married couple has given their nod to be part of ‘Toonpur Ka Super Hero’.

The flick will be a 3D animation film to be directed by first-timer Kireet Khurana. Ajay and Kajol will play themselves in the movie. After U, Me Aur Hum, Kajol has signed another film opposite hubby Ajay Devgan. The film titled Toonpur Ka Super Hero and is a 3D animation film.

Co-produced by Kumar Mangat and Sunil Lulla, this animated film we hear, will have live characters and will be directed by ad filmmaker Kireet Khurana. The interesting thing is that Ajay Devgan will play himself in the movie.

Eros International has signed Kajol opposite husband Ajay Devgan for TOONPUR KA SUPER HERO, a 3D film with animation. The film marks Eros’ second production with the husband-wife duo after YOU, ME AND HUM.

Directed by ad film maker Kireet Khurana, TOONPUR KA SUPER HERO tells the story of a reel-life hero accidentally landing in a world of cartoons and transforming into a real-life hero. The film will have Ajay Devgan playing himself.

Recently when Ajay Devgan asked Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation for fire engines to shoot a crucial rain sequence for his directorial debut, U Me Aur Hum, he was turned down on the grounds that they are meant for putting out fires, not for film shoots.

Kiran Kadam, chief fire brigade officer says, “Devgan did come to us and wanted these fire engines for shooting. However, we maintain that these machines are used only to put out fires in the city and not for any other purpose.”
