Devgan is all set to launch three films – and the third one, which is currently being scripted, will relaunch Tanisha. The lady has been lying low since her debacle called Neal N Nikki .

“The film is in the scripting stage and things are not yet confirmed. The cast will be officially announced only after the script is ready,” said Ajay’s spokesperson. Let’s see if the Devgan touch can help Tanisha deliver a hit.

London Dreams, the film starring Ajay Devgan and Salman Khan, has been taken over by Vipul Shah. The film was earlier to be finished by Raj Kumar Santoshi, and released already. After his directorial debut `U, Me Aur Hum`, actor-director Ajay Devgan is set to produce three films under his banner. He will also direct one of them.

It seems that apna Bhajji is going out of his way, be it on or off the field. The spinner appeared as a guest on the sets of Zee’s Rock N Roll Family. His antics on the sets angered Ajay Devgan, one of the anchors for the show. As a result, Ajay gave Harbhajan a piece of his mind.

Harhajan, who has been a great fan of Kajol since his college days, agreed to come on the show only because of her. During the show he even admitted that he had a crush on Kajol.

Health Minister Anbumani Ramadoss will be happy to note that at least one actor has finally and completely quit smoking. Admits Ajay Devgan, from the sets of Zee TV’s Rock N Roll Family, “Yes, I have completely quit smoking.”

Ajay Devgan has always been known more for his socially relevant films—like Zakhm, Legend of Bhagat Singh, Gangaajal, Apaharan and Halla Bol—than his comic capers. And, finally, here is someone who appreciates his work.

The Urdu Press Club honoured Devgan with the Jasarat Award at Kanpur. Although he was not present at the award ceremony, he gave his respects in a written statement that talked about the value of Urdu and its significance in the Indian film industry.

Historian-author Amaresh Misra was also honoured with the Jasarat Award at the same function.

Actor-director Ajay Devgan says his career is like an investment as he would like his daughter to be proud of his work when she grows up.

From his first film, Phool Aur Kaante, to his recent releases, including Company, GangaaJal and Omkara, the actor has always impressed audiences with his versatility. However, he isn’t comfortable talking about his achievements.

Bollywood actor Ajay Devgan on Saturday joined Amitabh Bachchan, Saif Ali Khan and Sharmila Tagore in taking a dig at Health Minister Ambumani Ramadoss.

Devgan said in Bhopal that in a democracy everybody had the freedom of expression, so smoking or drinking on screen ought not be banned.

“In the films, when we show someone smoking or drinking, it is for a reason. It is not to promote any cigarette brand or liquor,” says Devgan.

He explains, “If we have to show some historical character, for instance, if I have to make a movie on Winston Churchill, what will I show. I can’t make the movie if there is a ban on showing cigarettes in the film. He used to have a cigar in his hand. What do I show then? Should I show a lollipop in Churchill’s mouth? Everyone has his or her responsibilities in place. Everyone knows what is right and wrong for them.”

“There should be no ban on anything. This is what our democracy says and we should follow it,” adds Ajay Devgan.

The actor-director who has been riding high on the success of ‘U, Me Aur Hum’ with wifey Kajol is singing to a new tune these days. Ajay Devgan who is currently shooting for ‘Golmaal Returns’, will follow it up with Kumar Mangat’s ‘Toonpur ka Superhero’ . But after all that he is planning another blockbuster.

Ajay Devgan is currently in talks with Eros Entertainment for signing a new project titled ‘Raghupati Raghav Rajaram’. And if the deal gets through, this will prove to be a very influential project for Devgan’s career. Apparently, he will not just direct and act in the film but will have three roles to play!
