Ajay Devgan, who is basking in the success of his recent release ‘Golmaal Returns’, says he doesn’t need to ‘chalk out’ time for his wife Kajol as he has maintained a good balance between both his worlds.

‘Kajol and I get enough time to spend with each other. I have never had a problem on that front. I have always balanced my work and family life very well,’ Ajay told IANS.

As of now, both Ajay and Kajol are working on their animation film titled ‘Toonpur Ka Superhero’.

‘It’s a very different animation film and it’s been a great experience shooting for it. Both, Kajol and I, live animated characters in the film,’ he said.

Apart from ‘Toonpur Ka Superhero’, Ajay has a variety of films in his kitty including Vipul Shah’s ‘London Dreams’ and Prakash Jha’s ‘Rajniti’.

Back from London after a long shooting schedule for Vipul Shah’s London Dreams, Ajay Devgan can’t stop heaping praises over his co-star in the film, Salman Khan. Devgan had last worked along side Salman in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam that was released over a decade back. Surprisingly very few times one hears, any of Salman’s co-stars going ga-ga over him especially during their abroad shoot experience.

Ajay told us. “I was doing a film with Salman after such a long time. But we got along so well and also understand each other so well. In Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam we didn’t have many scenes opposite each other so in a way in London Dreams we were working together for the first time. It’s a musical drama of two friends and has lots of humour. The off-screen camaraderie between us will definitely reflect on the screen once the film releases. Bollywood actor Ajay Devgan is revelling the success of his comic caper Golmaal Returns and has announced part three in the series.

“Golmaal Returns has turned out to be one of the biggest films this year. I am thrilled to know that the film has collected more than Rs.34 crore (Rs.340 million) in just first five days of its release,” Ajay wrote on his blog.

Ajay Devgan starrer Golmaal Returns, which was released during Diwali, had a 95 per cent opening. This has surprised the actor because he didn’t anticipate such a huge opening.

He says “I don’t know what worked for the film. We knew it would work, but never expected it would be this big. I have been told that it had the biggest opening in the last 5-6 years. I am also told that the first week’s collection is something totally unheard of. It is shocking. I didn’t expect this at all. I guess there is some kind of luck attached.”

Golmaal Returns is proving to be a huge success at the box office, but the man behind the sequel, Ajay Devgan, does not want to take any credit for the decision to have a sequel. “It was a joint decision,” he says, “When Golmaal became a success we all jointly decided that a sequel had to be made. A lot of time went into the scripting of the film. We had to be careful since the first part was a huge success. The gags had to be better,” says Ajay.

Ajay has easily moulded himself to suit comedy ventures, after starting out with a spate of action films. “This is not the first time I am doing a comedy. I had done films like Ishq Vishq, which was hugely succeful. But people immediately connect me to Golmaal. But it’s time I did an action film. I am missing hardcore action now,” he says.
