‘Aarakshan’ is our film—Ajay Devgan

During the launch of the first theatrical trailer of his upcoming film ‘Rascals’, actor Ajay Devgan, who shares a great bond with filmmaker Prakash Jha, stated that ‘Aarakshan’ is their film and they support it.

“‘Aarakshan’ is our film only. We are all together. I share long and good relations with Prakashji. If we can help each other and support each other what could be better than that?,” stated the ‘Singham’ cop.

The ‘Gangaajal’ actor even said that there is no provoking content in ‘Aarakshan’, and only when audiences will see it, they will come to know about it. Continue reading →

Ajay Devgan and Katrina Kaif to come together

As per the latest reports, Ajay Devgan and Katrina Kaif can soon be seen together romancing each other on silver screen. Director Praksha Jha who had already finalized Katrina for his upcoming bollywood film based on anti-corruption, Satsang, have now confirmed Ajay Devgan as the male lead.

Quite contrary to rumours that surfaced when Aarakshan production was going on, when we heard how Prakash Jha and Ajay Devgan have fallen apart as the later refused to play the role of a dalit professor, which then went to Saif Ali Khan, there were also reports how Devgan was not happy from his role in Raajneeti. Ajay Devgan and Akshay Kumar to work together

One cannot be foes forever in Bollywood and this applies to long time arch rivals Ajay Devgan and Akshay Kumar also. Ajay and Akshay’s rivalry goes back to the initial years of their acting career when they did a film together in 1994 called ‘Suhaag’. It took another 10 years before they came together again for Rajkumar Santoshi’s ‘Khakee’, followed by K. Subhash’s ‘Insaan’ in the year 2005.

The similarities between their career paths are hard to miss. Over the years, both have evolved from being action heroes to comedy stars and both have only recently decided to go back to their first love – action movies. While Ajay has already scored big time with the super successful ‘Singham’, Akshay is also not lagging behind and has recently finished the second shooting schedule of his upcoming action flick ‘Rowdy Rathore’. Why Ajay Devgan refused Aarakshan

Aha! The cat has come out of the bag at last. We had a hunch that there was more than that meets the eye behind Ajay Devgan’s refusal to be a part of Prakash Jha’s recently released film ‘Aarakshan’. Ajay and Jha’s association goes back to the time when they did the critically acclaimed ‘Gangaajal’ in the year 2003. This was followed by another winner, ‘Apaharan’ in 2005 and then the blockbuster hit ‘Raajneeti’ in 2010.

Therefore, a lot of eyebrows were raised when Ajay declined to be a part of Jha’s latest project. As a result of his denial, the role was offered to Saif Ali Khan. Though sources from Prakash Jha Productions were saying that Ajay could not work in ‘Aarakshan’ due to a jam packed shooting schedule, latest reports suggest quite the contrary. Ajay Devgan’s ‘Tezz’ to Clash with Ranbir Kapoor’s ‘Rockstar’

Ajay Devgan’s forthcoming film Tezz, also starring Anil Kapoor and Kangana Ranaut is all set to release this year November. However, Ajay is now concerned about experiencing a possible clash with Imtiaz Ali’s next, Rockstar, which stars, Ranbir Kapoor, newcomer, Nargis Fakhri and the late, Shammi Kapoor.

Ajay Devgan Is Thrilled For Son Of Sardar

Khiladi Kumar Akshay who was initially hesitant to part with the title of Son Of Sardar has finally agreed to lend it to Ajay Devgan.

He sent a letter of consent thereby handing over the title of the film to Ajay. Ajay is very excited with Akshay’s decision.

Ajay Devgan, Sanjay Dutt banish Kangana Ranaut from Rascals event

If reports are anything to go by, actors Ajay Devgan and Sanjay Dutt have teamed up against their ‘Rascals’ co-star Kangana Ranaut and have vowed to never work with her again in the future. Apparently, Ajay and Sanjay are upset with the actress over some of her outrageous remarks in media. As a result, they have forced David Dhawan, director of ‘Rascals’, to drop Kangana from the promotional campaign of the movie.

In the past also Kangana has been accused of being a motor mouth and making statements without thinking through them. Reportedly, she had even rubbed Salman Khan the wrong way when she told media that Salman is a close friend of hers. Recently, there were rumours about Ajay avoiding Kangana at the ‘Tezz’ shooting schedule in London because of her ‘indecent’ behaviour. Is John Abraham’s Force a Replicate of Ajay Devgan’s Singham?

After the release of Rohit Shetty’s film, Singham, another film titled, Force is facing huge dilemmas.

Nishikant Kamath’s forthcoming venture, Force, starring John Abraham in the main lead is set to release next month; however after watching Ajay Devgan’s latest film, Singham, the team of Force have noticed some of the their scenes to be quite similar to the ones in Singham.

Ajay, Sanjay to reprise their famous screen characters in ‘Rascals’

David Dhawan’s upcoming comedy flick ‘Rascals’ has Sanjay Dutt and Ajay Devgan playing pivotal roles.

Incidentally, this would be the first time that both Ajay and Sanjay will be seen mocking at their famous characters Sultan Mirza from ‘Once Upon A Time In Mumbaai’ and Rahgu from ‘Vaastav’ respectively.
‘Rascals’ trailer has already been unveiled on Friday with the big release of Prakash Jha’s controversial film ‘Aarakshan.’

Why Ajay Devgan Turned Down Prakash Jha’s Aarakshan

It’s not just about the dates. Prakash Jha may want the world to believe that Ajay Devgan did not act in his Aarakshan due to date problems but the fact is that the actor was also not happy with his role, now played by Saif Ali Khan.

A source close to Devgan revealed that Ajay was not too excited about the role offered to him. He was also not happy that the character he was to portray disappears from the scene for a long time in the film, added the source. “The date problem could’ve been tackled, but Ajay was not keen to act in the film in the first place because of the above problems,” concluded the source wishing to remain anonymous.
